A paper and board distributor depended on a single mill to supply its printers. Today it receives a continuous programme of folding boxboard from several Asian origins, across the full caliper range, with prices fixed before production and one container after another arriving at Callao without stock-outs.
A press group needed to secure supply for its rotary without being tied to one mill or to the price swings of one origin. We combine reels from North America and Europe in 42 to 48.8 g, on a monthly programme with staggered shipments, and its plant now receives paper with the regularity of a local supply.
